Behold the beginnings of the Diamond Fantasy Shawl. I know I shouldn’t be worrying yet but I *swear* it isn’t coming out quite right.

My first reaction to the photo was “OH MY GOSH, lacy mohair panties!” Then I remembered that you don’t make novelty lingerie. It is hard to tell right now as it is fairly early on and you have it pinned up, but it looks okay to me.

Hi, I’m here from the knitty board. After looking at the DFS, this does not look right. You should be able to see lines in the body of the shawl at this point. There is a center line taht goes up the entire shawl. If I were you I would use the edge and the center line as landmarks, and check and recheck your stitch counts, because something is way off. Do you have a more recent picture? From your knitty post, it sounds like you’ve got more done that we can look out.
