Bunny love, continued

The angora is nicely (and quickly!) transforming itself into Pinup Queen from the first SNB book. It’s thick, fuzzy stuff - thank God it hasn’t been that hot out, or I’d suffocate knitting this. I will thank the me of August when it rolls around to being the me of December and I have this sweater to wear.

So variety’s the spice of life, right? And what’s life without a little spice? I cast on for the Estonian Garden lace stole as well:

That’s Zephyr Wool-Silk there, a gigantic 1 lb. cone with a whopping 5,040 yards. I got it in vanilla on the theory that I could dye it and then knit my next three shawls with it - it’s a little intimidating on its enormous cone, but I have faith that I’ll eventually knit the stuff up.

More later after my brain unfreezes! I must be just having a little intellectual petit mal going on lately.

i love the new look! now remember, weigh each shawl after knitting, before cutting ends, to see precisely how much you used. no surprises when you get to your third shawl!
