More bunny love, slowly but surely… unfortunately it seems to have stopped multiplying at a rabbit-like pace. I’m not sure if the sweater is just coming really slowly all of a sudden, or if I’m just smitten by another project.
You see, this argyle sweater is the apple of my eye:
I have a vision of argyle right now - argyle in camel-colored alpaca with diamonds in terracotta and cream and chocolate brown embroidered lines. You can read all about my new obsession here. …Fickle, knitting makes me. (And evidently it occasionally makes me talk like Yoda as well.) So there’s an inch and a half of ribbing left to go on BunnyLove and all day I have been totally unable to get myself to do it. Here’s the forlornly abandoned front with an Odalisque by Zoot (note the haughty way he refuses to turn around for the camera, at least once he figured out that treats were not in the offing.)

I’ve been lusting after argyle too, only a vest with a deep V. The colours you have in mind sound fab.
Keep it up with bunny love, it’s going to be gorgeous when it’s finished.

That argyle pattern is calling to me. Will you be posting the pattern, or should we just use the picture as a take-off point? That would entice me into the Vintage KAL!

I like the argyle!
In response to asking what I was gonna do with all those Aran swatches…well, lets see. I am probably gonna make a blanket or throw when I’m done with them all. There are 20 total, and I’ve done 7 so far.
I’m knitting them because I was given BAGS of Alice Starmore yarn for Arans, and my library just happened to have a copy of Aran Knitting….and I had the right yarn to knit the sweaters etc.
So I started with the swatches, to develop a sense of what she calls intuitive knitting and practice.
Eventually, crazy Aran sweaters!
